Second Semester Student Learning Commitment

We are asking all families to complete a second semester learning commitment form, to select either full-time virtual learning or a traditional, in-person learning format.  All details on both learning formats, as well as the commitment forms are listed below.  We are asking all families to respond by Friday, December 11.  Printed copies are being mailed to all families, and can be returned to any building drop box (located outside the elementary, HS/MS, and superintendent office doors).

Week 14 Online Student Meal Request

To sign up for meals for the week of December 7 - December 11, please fill out the following form by Wednesday, December 2.  Families must fill out the form EACH week to have meals ready for pick up!

 Meal pick up for all students is Monday, December 7th from 12 - 1 pm.

Need help with Remote Learning?

If you have questions regarding remote learning, reach out to your student's teachers with an e-mail!  They are there to help you!  All building offices are also open from 8 am - 3 pm each day.  You can call the office to speak with someone that can help address your needs!  Please do not wait if you are having issues with accessing Google Meets, assignments, or internet accessibility.  We want to help you now to remove any barriers from remote learning success!!!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - 11/15/2020 (Call Out Info)

Dear Homer Families and Staff, 

This evening, at 6:00 pm, Governor Whitmer held a press conference to announce that the State of Michigan will be under a new Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Epidemic Order for the next three weeks.  To protect all of our Homer students and staff, we will begin the transition to remote for all grades K-12 on Monday, November 16, with an intent to return to school on Wednesday, December 9.  This is in response to the rapidly increasing number of COVID-19 positive cases within our state and the crisis that this has placed on our health care system.  Our district will be implementing the following:

Instruction - ALL Remote or Virtual
All K-12 students that are currently in-person will transition to remote learning.  All students are expected to check their email and Google Classrooms daily, for Google Meet schedules and daily learning expectations.  We will follow the same Google Meet schedules posted in or Return to Learn Plan.  All grade level schedules are available on the district website for your convenience.  Students that are currently 100% virtual will continue with their existing online curriculum and schedules.
