SHARE YOUR CULTURE WITH THE WORLD AND SUPPORT HOMER SCHOOLS!!! CIEE (Council for International Educational Exchange) is seeking families to host exchange students who will arrive in the area in August. You do not have to have teenagers to be able to host. Be a part of this unique educational adventure! Open your heart and your home ... share your school, community, and country!
CIEE's USA High School students stay with their host families for either 1 to 2 semesters while attending Homer High School. The cultural exchange between your family and the student will help you both to gain a deeper understanding of human values that unite all nations across the world. Families are expected to provide students with their own bed, a place to keep their things and three meals a day. The students will have their own funds for clothing and personal spending needs, as well as medical insurance. This is a great way to support Homer Schools and have a meaningful experience for your family!
Please call Homer Community Schools to talk to Director of Instructional Services JoEllen O’Keefe at 517-568-4464 for more information, or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about hosting.
