This summer, teachers at Lillian Fletcher Elementary sent out a request to parents, family, friends, and community members to sponsor a student through the Scholastic Book Club program for the 2019-20 school year. Within just a few days, every student was sponsored! Thanks to the generosity and support of the Homer community, our students will enjoy the excitement that comes from getting a new book each month and growing their love of reading. Students were thrilled to receive their first books! Just another example of how students "Experience Excellence" at Homer Community Schools!!!
