Time Change - Spring Ahead

High & Middle School:

Access your child’s grades and attendance through the internet. Just go to the Homer Community Schools website which is: www.homerschools.net and click on “Parent Viewer” under the district menu. You will then need to type in your child’s 8 – digit school I.D. number in both the username and the password sections. That’s it!

There is a meeting for all middle school and high school students interested in playing football this fall today, March 10^th, after school in Mr. Brya’s room (room 211). The main topic of this meeting will be the summer workout schedule. Please plan on attending!

FFA members and those interested in joining FFA next year: Stop by the AG Room to get your copy of the Living Color Plant Sale fundraiser forms. Orders and $ are due by Tuesday, March 30th. This is a great opportunity to raise funds in your student account to attend state and national conferences. Plants are from Raker's Acres and will arrive the week before Mother's Day, around May 3rd. Any student’s grade 6-college can participate.

Any student interested in taking Driver Education I class at Homer Schools this summer should sign up with Mr. Finch in room #227. Plans are to have a June class and a July class. See Mr. Finch for information. The cost is $275 and you can hold a spot with a $140 deposit starting Monday, March 8^th.

High School:

There will be a mandatory meeting for all JV and Varsity Softball players after school in Mrs. Perry's old room (153) on Thursday, March 11th.

The annual Honors Assembly dated has been changed due to calendar conflict. The new date TBA.

Attention all baseball players: There will be a brief meeting this Friday, March 12^th, at 3:00 in room 153. We will be reviewing next week’s practice schedule.

There is a S.A.D.D. Members meeting on Thursday, March 11^th, in the media center at 3:00. We will be voting on officers, finalizing plans for the middle school assembly and signing The Contract for Life.

Seniors - JCC Rep Kimberly Seaburg will be here on Tuesday, March 16^th, at 9 a.m. for pre-orientation. If you are planning on or considering attending JCC this fall, you need to attend this meeting. Parents are also welcome to come. Sign up in the counseling office.

U of M - Flint will be here on Thursday, March 18^th, at 10:30. Please sign up in the counseling office if you would like to attend.

KCC will be here on Tuesday, March 23^rd, at 10:30 also for a pre-orientation. Please sign up in the counseling office if you are thinking about attending KCC this fall.

The following cheerleaders still need to turn in their uniforms, jacket, and bag:

The replacement cost for these items are: Bag - $20, Jacket - $25, Skirt - $75, Top - $75 = $195.

Middle School:

Attn. 7^th & 8^th Grade Girls: There will be a meeting today, March 10^th at 12:20 in Mrs. Crandall’s room for any 7^th or 8^th grade girls interested in participating in Track & Field this spring.

Attn. 7^th & 8^th Grade Boys: There will be a meeting today, March 11^th at 12:30 in room 153 for any 7^th or 8^th grade boys interested in participating in Track & Field this spring.
